April is
Sexual Assault
Awareness &
Prevention Month

April is a special month! Sexual Assault Awareness & Prevention Month highlights sexual violence as a public health, human rights and social justice issue. This is a time for everyone to really lean into learning what survivors need and what it takes to prevent sexual violence.

The week of April 21 is National Crime Victim Rights Week, a time to celebrate progress made in the victims’ rights movement, and reflect on what more must be done to strengthen our response to survivors.

Join us for an event, send a message of support to survivors, and help us get information out into the community this month!
