Healing comes in many forms, and for many of us, music has been a powerful source of strength during challenging times.

For Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month 2025, we invited our KCSARC community to share the songs that uplift them, fill them with hope and strength, or that have supported them on their healing journey as a survivor, knowing that many of our supporters are survivors themselves.  By sharing the music that has empowered us, our goal was to offer that same strength to survivors who may need it.

To survivors, we hope that when you tune into this playlist, you’ll be reminded that there is hope, even in the darkest moments. We hope it serves as a source of comfort and inspiration, a space where you can find strength in knowing that others are walking this path with you. And who knows? It might just get you up and dancing along the way!
